Peach French Toast recipe from Mid Atlantic Innkeepers COOKBOOK
















Peach French Toast
from Kimmell House Bed and Breakfast
Ingredients:         
1    Cup Brown Sugar
5  Eggs
½  Cup Butter                                        
1 ½  Cup Milk
2  Tbsp. Water                                      
1  Tbsp. Vanilla
1  Loaf  French Bread                           
1  Lg. can Sliced Peaches

Instructions:
Drain peaches.
  Heat sugar and butter.
  When mixture melts, add water and cook until sauce becomes thick.
  Pour into 9x13”  baking dish.
  Cool 10 minutes.
  Place peaches in cooked caramel sauce.
  Cover with bread slices.
  In a blender, add eggs, milk and vanilla.
  Pour over bread and put in refrigerator overnight.
  Bake at 350 deg. for 40 minutes.
  Top with whipped cream and cinnamon.
This is a breakfast recipe free of nuts and shellfish.
